EKU's Collegiate Farm Bureau is working hard to educate local residents about issues concerning agriculture and how they affect the community.
An Ag Celebration Day will be held on Saturday, April 28, from 5 to 9 p.m., at EKU's Meadowbrook Farm, 485 Whitt Road near Waco.
Students will offer tours of the farm, educating the community about agriculture and highlighting EKU agricultural facilities and student achievements.
The event, which will also include food and live music, is free and open to the public. To help EKU students travel to the farm, shuttle rides will run from campus to the farm, departing from the Keen Johnson Building every half hour beginning at 5 p.m. and running through 8:30 p.m.
