Approximately 140 third- and fourth-graders will visit Eastern Kentucky University’s Meadowbrook Farm for the facility’s annual “Day at the Farm.”

The event, on Thursday, March 30, is co-sponsored by the Wolfe County Extension Office.

EKU agriculture students will lead tours and activities, which begin at 9:30 a.m. Interactive activities center on farm equipment, animals, plants, products and agribusiness. The children will also get to make their own ice cream and take a hay ride.
