EKU President Michael Benson will be the keynote speaker at the Women Leading Kentucky Roundtable Networking Luncheon to be held on Thursday, Jan. 14, at Sal’s Chophouse in Lexington.
The luncheon is the first of four during the Winter 2016 series, which will focus on the theme “Change, Challenge, Opportunity.” Three of the four luncheons will be held in Lexington and the fourth will be held at Kentucky State University in Frankfort.
The luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. with a networking opportunity that includes exhibitors and vendors. Lunch will be served at noon with the program to follow. Ticket prices are $35 for one luncheon, $100 for the three Lexington luncheons and $130 for all four luncheons. Tickets can be purchased online at www.womenleadingky.com.

Women Leading Kentucky is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit, non-membership organization dedicated to helping women at all stages in their careers lead, learn, achieve and give back to their communities. Since 2000, the organization has provided more than $150,000 in scholarship money to women attending Kentucky colleges and universities.
“Our Roundtable Networking Luncheons are our premier events, with sellout crowds of 140-plus,” said Carol Siler, executive director of Women Leading Kentucky. “We hold six per year in Lexington, two at KSU in Frankfort, and in 2014 and 2015 we kicked off our fall season at EKU in Richmond. We also hold an annual Women’s Business and Leadership Conference the first week of May that attracts around 300 people from around the Commonwealth.”
