Eastern Kentucky University Theatre will present Ken Ludwig’s hit play “The Fox on the Fairway”at Gifford Theatre April 19-23.
The comedy, which plays tribute to the English farces of the 1930s and 1940s, follows a golf tournament at the Quail Valley Country Club, and all the chaos that ensues. Full of scandalous love affairs, lofty wagers, and of course, golf, the play highlights the human struggle in a way that will leave the audience laughing from beginning to end.
Ludwig is also known for his plays “Lend Me a Tenor” and “Moon over Buffalo.”
The hilarity begins at 8 p.m. April 19-22, and at 2 p.m. April 23. Tickets are $5 for students and seniors, $6 for adults, and can be purchased online at www.theatre.eku.edu. Starting April 17, they can also be purchased at the Gifford Box Office in the Campbell Building weekdays from 1 to 4 p.m. and an hour before each performance.
