As usual, the Eastern Kentucky University delegation was among the largest at the recent Southern Regional Honors Council in Asheville, North Carolina.

Twenty of the 408 student presenters from more than 40 Honors programs and colleges came from EKU Honors.

Also at the meeting, EKU student Jessa Hay, a junior biology major from Tabernacle, New Jersey, was elected to a one-year term on the SRHC Executive Board as a student at-large representative, and EKU Honors Program Director Dr. David Coleman was elected to a three-year term as the Council’s executive secretary/treasurer.
