The STEAM camp, June 18-22 for students who’ll be in grades 4-5 this fall, will focus on science, technology, engineering, art, mathematics and astronomy. The camp will run from 8:30 to noon each day, with a snack provided. The cost is $125, with discounts for siblings. Registration is online at https://regonline.com/hummelsteamcamp.

In each camp, participants will become immersed and challenged in a variety of hands-on educational activities. Also, parents or guardians must sign waivers, also available at the online registration sites. The camps will be held at the Hummel Planetarium, adjacent to the Perkins Building, where free parking is plentiful.

The planetarium will also hold a middle school camp this summer, with details to be announced later.
