Peppa Pig Coming to Center for the Arts

Due to popular demand, Peppa Pig’s Big Splash (www.peppapigliveus.com) is adding 31 additional cities, including Richmond, extending the brand’s first-ever U.S. tour through this fall.

The fall tour arrives at the Eastern Kentucky University Center for the Arts on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 5 p.m.

The Peppa Pig stage show is based on Entertainment One’s (eOne) top-rated TV series, which airs daily on Nick Jr. The U.S. tour has sold 200,000 tickets to date with some venues completely selling out. From coast to coast, the fun-filled show has been giving young fans an unforgettable first live theater experience.

The fully immersive musical production features a dozen familiar and original songs, as well as a sing-along, giving families the opportunity to engage with their favorite characters.

The story follows revolves around a leaky nursery roof that Peppa and her friends need to fix quickly. They set up a fair to raise money so Mr. Bull can do the repairs. Peppa, George, Mummy and Daddy Pig, along with Danny Dog, Pedro Pony and Suzy Sheep, work together to organize an exciting day out complete with a Champion Puddle Jumping competition judged by Mr. Potato, where everyone gets wet.
