Featured authors in the Showcase align with the Library's mission to support its users in their pursuit of academic excellence and success. The event will take place on Wednesday, April 10, from 1-2 p.m. in the Grand Reading Room in Crabbe Library.

The annual Scholar’s Tank event is an EKU version of Shark Tank, where students and faculty can pitch an idea to a panel of “sharks” to improve an aspect of campus. The Scholar’s Tank is all about innovation and thinking outside the box. Participants have just two minutes to present their idea and wow the panel of judges. The ideas chosen for the final round will give a two-minute presentation followed by a 10-minute Q&A session with the judges. The selected winner will be awarded $5,000 to make the idea a reality for campus. This will take place on Thursday, April 18, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning in Crabbe Library.
