The Eastern Kentucky University choral program released its second recording entitled, “Sing With Me,” which includes several live performances and recording sessions of the University Singers from 2017 until 2021.
The University Singers is the premier choral ensemble of 28 vocalists under the direction of Dr. Richard Waters, EKU professor of music and director of choral activities. The University Singers perform several concerts throughout the year, including stints with the Lexington Philharmonic.
“Sing With Me” includes music from a variety of composers including Kim André Arnesen, David Conte, Jocelyn Hagen, Arvo Pärt, Jake Runestad, Steven Stucky and Richard Waters. The choir is accompanied on several tracks by EKU Professor Becky Shaw.
