Jim Hinerman, senior clinical faculty in Eastern Kentucky University’s Department of Exercise and Sport Science, has received the highest honor bestowed by the Kentucky Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (KAHPERD).

Hinerman received the 2015 Walter H. Mustaine Award, which is given to professionals who have made significant contributions to the profession and to KAHPERD for a sustained period.
