EKU Offers First-Line Supervision Certificate

Published on January 06, 2016

New supervisors have most likely developed the technical skills required in their field. But their continued success depends on their ability to get work accomplished through others.

That’s why Eastern Kentucky University’s Center for Career and Workforce Development is again offering its First Line Supervision Certificate Program. The three-day Basic Core Concepts I course will be offered in Richmond on Feb. 2, 9 and 16 and in Corbin on Feb. 4, 11 and 18. Participants can then select an additional 18 hours (three days) of elective courses to complete the Basic Supervision Certificate program. The courses may be taken as part of the certificate program or as a stand-along professional development activity.

For more information or to register, contact Susan Cornelius at 859-622-6216 (Richmond) or Donna Helton-Gray at 859-622-6716 (Corbin). To see all the EKU course offerings for Spring 2016, visit workforce.eku.edu/sites/workforce.eku.edu/files/spring_2016_we_catalog.pdf.
