Eastern Kentucky University is increasing the number of business degree options available 100 percent online. Beginning in Fall 2020, students can earn their BBA online in one of three new areas – management, marketing and finance. An undergraduate certificate in global supply chain management is also coming online and can be added to any BBA to boost credentials. Enrollment for all options is open now and application fees have been waived for Fall 2020 starts. The expansion of program offerings will give EKU students additional opportunities to earn their online business degrees in some of the country’s fastest growing fields.
“EKU’s mission is to provide opportunities for education and lifelong success. Our business degrees launch exciting careers for students in Kentucky and around the globe. Expanding our online BBA program will allow more students to earn an AACSB-accredited degree with all the expertise and support EKU has to offer,” said Dr. Thomas Erekson, dean of the College of Business and Technology.
EKU’s business programs are accredited by AACSB International – The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, which recognizes the best business schools in the world. AACSB-accredited universities have expert faculty and global reach. Graduates of these universities are sought after by top employers and generally earn higher salaries.
A BBA is a foundational degree for individuals who want to contribute to the growth of a multi-faceted organization, as well as those with entrepreneurial aspirations. Individuals with business degrees can choose from a variety of jobs such as budget analyst, auditor, data analyst, marketing officer, human resource specialist, purchasing manager, management consultant or supply chain manager. EKU graduates go on to earn their MBA, start their own businesses and lead some of the best-known companies in the world. The EKU Online BBA is ideal for those who want to advance in their current job, as well as those who are looking to change careers.
EKU introduced the online BBA degree in Fall 2017. In addition to the three new degrees, students can also major in general business administration, public accounting and risk management and insurance.
EKU Online business programs are designed for working professionals, and students are not required to visit campus. Through accelerated 8-week courses, students earn the same accredited degree as on-campus students and receive personalized advising from the moment they inquire about a program through graduation. Free tutoring and career assistance are also available. Eastern Kentucky University is ranked among the best schools offering online degrees by U.S. News & World Report and Military Times.
Classes begin in August. For more information, visit go.EKU.edu/BBA20.
