Eastern Kentucky University’s RN-BSN program is recognized as a “Top 50 Best Value Online Program” for 2015 by Value Colleges. The fully online program was ranked 13th overall.

“This is especially good news for our program because it is designed for the working nurse,” explained Dr. Mary Clements, chair of the Department of Baccalaureate and Graduate Nursing. “We are committed to providing a quality program that will position our students for career success.”

The EKU Online RN-BSN program was launched in Fall 2014 and is among the fastest-growing online programs the university has ever offered.

Value Colleges helps students determine the value of their degree in the job market. Factors such as tuition rates and potential return on investment are considered in their rating process. Schools must also be accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education(CCNE) or the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). It also gives weight to U.S. News & World Report, which currently ranks EKU 61st among online graduate nursing programs.
