WEKU Classical, available online at WEKU.org, is significantly increasing Classical Music programming.
Starting today, listeners will hear more than 50 hours per week of additional Classical music programming.
WEKU Director and General Manager Mike Savage said the station has partnered with the Classical 24 service to provide this additional content which replaces syndicated Jazz programming.
Listeners who want to hear Jazz can still hear NPR’s Jazz Night In America and Classic Jazz with Roger Chesser Sunday evenings on WEKU Classical. WEKU 88.9 FM also airs Jazz programming Friday evenings and overnights on the weekends.
