Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) will hold spring commencement ceremonies on Friday, May 10, 2024, at Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky. Three ceremonies are scheduled to honor graduates from the university’s six academic colleges.
The schedule is as follows:
9 a.m. graduation ceremony

1:30 p.m. graduation ceremony

In all, EKU will be recognizing 2,217 graduates: 213 certificates, 47 associate degrees, 1,552 bachelor’s degrees, 377 master’s degrees, 14 post-master’s certificates and 14 doctoral degrees.
Six months after graduation, 77% of EKU graduates are employed full time, 59% within their field of study.
Graduates may invite an unlimited number of guests to attend commencement ceremonies. Guest seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Accessible seating will be available. Signage around the arena will assist guests to the correct parking lot and officers will be directing traffic. For more information about parking, guests can use the Spring Commencement parking map.

Individuals who can’t attend can watch the ceremonies through a livestream. A link to the livestream will be available at www.eku.edu on the day of commencement.
