Tom Thurman, retired professor in EKU's Department of Fire Protection and Paramedicine Sciences, is widely recognized for his expertise in bomb and explosion investigations.
That includes China.
Thurman's textbook, "Practical Bomb Scene Investigation," 2nd Edition, has now been published in Chinese for their use in bomb investigation courses.
Thurman, who retired recently after 17 years on the EKU faculty, has traveled extensively throughout the world to speak on the subject. He came to Eastern after a distinguished career with the FBI.
