Awareness of Gaming Institute Grows

EKU's Gaming Institute, the first of its kind in Kentucky, was profiled recently by the Lexington Herald-Leader.

The article ( highlights how the University saw the need to foster and serve the burgeoning game development industry in the Commonwealth.

The Institute, now anchored by a state-of-the-art motion capture studio, is also proving to be popular with a generation of students who grew up playing video games and are gaining multidisciplinary knowledge and newfound skills to develop and market their own.
