Dr. Bruce MacLaren Chautauqua Lecture Series: David Barrie

The Dr. Bruce MacLaren Chautauqua Lecture Series resumes Thursday, April 7, 2022, when David Barrie, author of two acclaimed books about navigation, delivers his address “Supernavigators: The Wonders of How Animals Find Their Way.”

Barrie is a lifelong sailor and world traveler, a former arts director and law reform campaigner, a former member of the British Diplomatic Service who worked toward the Anglo-Irish Agreement, a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Navigation and a Commander of the Order of the British Empire since 2010.
